Avila and Ben Moshe 6th and 8th in Poland

Edwin Avila and Yuval Ben Moshe continued to bring in top ten finishes in the resumed season, finishing 6th and 8th in the first stage of the Albertina Baltyk-Karkonosze Tour in Poland. The peloton stayed together for the whole stage, ending with a bunch sprint.

“The guys rode really great together, aggressive at good times, but they missed a bit of luck in the final. Yuval always up there which is great and now we can see Edwin is also ready to contest for a win,” said Sport Director Zak Dempster.

“It was a good stage for us, but without information from the organizers we are sort of walking around in the dark, trying to guess the sprint locations, which is a shame.”

Saturday’s stage is a very short one, only 67 km, “but with a chance of crosswinds. We will be on the front foot to do as well as we can and hopefully have the lead going into Sunday’s mountain stage.”
