Israel Start-Up Nation started out Tour de Romandie with Patrick Bevin taking taking 16th place in the prologue.

With a distance of just 4 km, it was always expected to be a close fight for the win today. However, as the last 800 meters were uphill towards the finishing line, the riders good on the climbs did have an advantage on the pure time trial specialists.

Starting out as one of the early riders, it was no surprise to see Bevin clock one of the best times as the crossed the finishing line in Oron. The clock stopped at 5:44 minutes, seeing Bevin ride into second place at the time. From here on, it was a waiting game to see who else could challenge for the top positions.

Ultimately, Rohan Dennis (INEOS) took the win, while ISN’s designated GC captain, Michael Woods, did well to stay in contention for the overall classification as he finished the day in 36th place.
