Côtes D'Armor Marie Morin Véranda Rideau
The Côtes D’Armor Marie Morin Véranda Rideau cycling team is a Breton team racing in the National Division 1 and Israel Cycling Academy reserve.
The French Team had joined forces with ICA in 2019, and is helping to develop ICA’s best young talents, and became a reserve of the Pro Continental team.
Israel Cycling Academy and Côtes D’Armor have established a unique partnership in order to provide their Israeli, French and other international young talents further opportunities to develop and fulfill their potential.
As a part of the collaboration, the French club now serves as an official training and racing platform for ICA U23 riders with a quality racing program, full professional support and close monitoring under the guidance of ICA pro team staff and management.
Through this unique agreement, several Israeli riders have traveled to Brittany in France, to compete in the highest level of French amateur races with the Côtes D’Armor club.
Several Israeli and French riders from Côtes D’Armor have joined the pro team at its training camps in Spain and in Israel.
Former ICA manager Ran Margaliot: “We see Côtes D’Armor as a beautiful opportunity for our young riders to develop further. This is more than just a great racing and training platform. I believe that gaining the experience of what it actually takes to live and train in Europe full time is crucial for the young Israeli riders. It is a lot more than just cycling really. It is about learning language skills, it is about exposure for new languages, it is about developing independence and essential life skills while actually racing.”
