Israel Start-Up Nation (Israel SUN) riders will use the full-range of SwissStop rotors and brake pads in 2020. Both road bikes and time trial bikes will be equipped with the state-of-the-art products of the Swiss manufacturer.
Operations Manager at Israel SUN, Jost Zevnik, finds the collaboration ship between the internationally-oriented Israeli team and the Swiss manufacturer important. “We are going to race with our full setup on disc brakes. It is a priority for us to have a partner that has top of the line products.”

The manufacturer itself likes the fact that the Israel Start-Up Nation has “bold plans for the future”. BRAKES FROM MENDRISIO
SwissStop, a global leader in bicycle brake components dedicated to performance, has a lot of experience in building rotors and brake pads. The ‘parent’ of SwissStop, Rex Articoli Tecnici SA, was founded in Mendrisio, Switzerland in 1935. For many years the company worked as a supplier to the bicycle market leaders of the time, including the famous Weinmann.
Later, Rex established the SwissStop brand which has continued to build upon the experience and knowledge gained in earlier years through consistent development of new materials, testing protocols and production methods.
Today, SwissStop is based in a state-of-the-art facility for research, development and production in our original city of Mendrisio.
