Although he’s already 24, it’s so tempting to use the word “kid” when you are around our Israeli Omer Goldstein. Maybe because, for Omer, racing is first and foremost “FUN.”
With not one ounce of fear in his body and a flourishing talent, Omer was our most pleasant surprise in the Vuelta – his first Grand Tour ever.
 
Dan Martin, who playfully calls him “the koala 🐨” for his sleeping 💤 habits, was admittedly shocked to see his Israeli teammate standing by him at crucial moments of the race. “I didn’t expect him, but there he was,” exclaimed Dan.
