The Israel Start-Up Nation riders were greeted by hundreds of eager fans on the first day of the ISN Homecoming Camp in Israel.

The many supporters got a chance to meet their heroes as the riders paused for a coffee stop during their morning ride in Jerusalem.

At the Bar Bahar, the fans were able to take photos, get autographs and talk with the ISN riders who all cherished this opportunity to meet the Israeli home fans.

Krists Neilands: “This is my fifth time in Israel and it’s starting to feel like a second home country to me. Every year, we see more and more Israeli fans at the races and it’s really great that we get to spend time with them like this. We truly appreciate all their support and this was an amazing way to start the camp here.”

In the afternoon, the whole team was treated to a guided tour in the old town of Jerusalem, discovering the marvels of the city, while captivatingly walking through the streets of this unique historical area.

Chris Froome: “It has been an extremely insightful historical lesson to see these different quarters of the old town and especially the Western Wall. You can really feel the history here and the stories these buildings and monuments can tell are simply spectacular.”
