With #VisitIsrael and Hammerhead, Israel Start-Up Nation shares the favorite loops of all Israeli riders in our two teams.
In volume 4 we feature Yuval Tsahor. “This ride leads to a beautiful viewpoint”
“This might not be the prettiest loop when you look at it as a gpx-file, as it is not really a loop, but that’s only half of the story,” Yuval Tsahor says about his favorite route in Israel.
“There are a few dead-end roads, but these are my local climbs where I like to do my efforts. One can choose for himself to skip a few to reduce the number of kilometers.”
One of the highlights of this trip is the peaceful view site, a memorial for an Israeli soldier. It is on top of one of the climbs (see photo). The views are amazing from this viewing point.”
As for the KOM, Tsahor says: “Obviously the climb to that view point is my favorite one in Israel. I had the KOMs on all four of the climbs on this route, however my dad broke one of them. I will have to take revenge, I know, and I will do that as soon as possible.”
